Our fuel pumps cost a fraction of what you pay for a genuine pump from other heater manufactures. We very rarely, if ever, see these pumps go bad. For best fuel pump reliability, we recommend running your heater every 1-2 months throughout the year. It's important to run your heater even in the warm summer months so that fresh fuel can be pulled into the lines and lubricate the pump to prevent it from seizing up from old fuel.
